The index is trading around 7070 this morning and still has the cleanest strong structure among the major assets. The key zone now is 7062–7068. As long as price stays above it, the priority remains on holding strength with room toward 7080 and higher. A move below 7062 would be the first signal that the market is shifting from strength into a deeper pause. The main point here is not to fight the structure from the short side while the upper shelf is still holding.

Evening update. The morning strength scenario not only held, but expanded. Price defended the upper shelf above 7002–7005 and extended higher into the 7059 area by the close. The key zone now is 7045–7052. As long as price stays above it, the priority remains on holding strength with room for further upside. Only a move back below that zone would shift the market into a deeper pullback and weaken the current structure. The main takeaway is that buyers did not lose control during the session — they raised support higher, and that new zone now defines the next setup.

Interesting grind higher today. I have started scaling into short positions now. The vix seems to have stopped selling off and the price action looks to me as if it needs to come back to the moving averages on the longer time frames. 6950 is my target
